About Our Founders
In late 2018, Nurse Practitioners and co-founders Nicole Brassington and Dr. Angelina Strickland created Bespoke Global Health Initiatives as a vehicle for their humanitarian ventures. In March 2019, the pair traveled to Sierra Leone in West Africa after being challenged to help by a Sierra Leonean nurse colleague. During that trip the pair hosted a Girls Empowerment and Health Education Seminar where they were inspired by the hopefulness of the young women who have survived a Civil War and an Ebola pandemic. From that trip, the women found their calling to partner with other women and organizations globally to “empower people of African descent around the world.”
Nicole Brassington, MSN, AG-ACNP-BC
Nicole Brassington is a social enterprise entrepreneur and healthcare provider who has dedicated her life to helping others and women’s empowerment as a nurse practitioner and businesswoman. Determined to positively impact the lives of women at home in Kentucky and around the world she started Bespoke Global Health Initiatives, Bespoke Ventures & Investments and NSPIRE Enterprises as vehicles to allow her to increase access to care for vulnerable populations and support businesses that inspire, invest, and leverage influence for good.
